Revitalize Gym Botany

If youre in Howick/Pakurang/Manukau area you should check out Revitalize Gym, I was amazed at the amount of new of everything they have, dumbells up to 70KG, four squat racks, heaps of benches & lots of other new stuff while maintaining the raw iron feel.

I heard the owner spent almost 200K on the upgrade, good place if you're not into "Fitness Clubs"

I heard it gets over crowded there at certain times? and has too many members as they are a gym that has the mentality to get as many members signed up and then not care for over crowding. Im at bodybussiness just down the road and a few people i have talked to there have come to bodybussiness as too crowded at revitalise.

i pay 18 a week and its no contract where as revitalise is 9.95/week but its a 3 year contract maybe longer?

200k upgrade sounds good though, but i highly doubt it would have been that much.

wanna see the cheque account? More upgrades to come soon. We have new startrak treadmills arriving within the next 2 weeks and believe me these aren't cheap! We have a large range of hammer strength d/b's from 2kg-70kg and ample amounts of new hammer plates(added within the last few mths). We have a fairly new matrix multi cable station added in recently.Gym has been repainted in the last few weeks and looks much better now. New 50" plasma screens arriving today.We are the best equipt weights gym in the area easily now, body business doesn't compair too well anymore.

our next upgrade will be expanding the free weights floor some more(3rd time now) cardio area has been opened up recently to allow for the new treadmills etc...(3rd time we have increased the cardio area)

I use to train at this gym a year or so ago. I thought back then was it good. Even better now with the new hammer strength gear. I saw the new dumbbells when i went to pick up the old ones i purchased from them. hehe

its a shame i had to move away from the area

This post is really good timing as I'm just about to move to this area from the Tron, and have been researching gyms that will suit my needs. Will have to check it out.
