Firstly thats a lot of weight to put on in a small time frame - its a marathon not a sprint TS!

Check out the RESOURCES tab up top - sections on Diet & Training routines.

I like many think you just need to eat more before worrying about supplements (at 70kgs @ 185cm). Before you say I eat heaps, have 6-8 meals a day everyday, lots of nutrient rich food with good protein content. FAILSAFE.

Then supplements! They might get ya to 90kg!

Good luck.

Nate

Thank you for your quick response.I agree i definitely need to eat more! but do you not think those supplements will assist me to reaching my goal?

cheers :)

The way I look at it is in steps.... get the baseline stuff sorted first as a foundation for the future. Make some gains, and when it stalls add something new to the mix. If you use up your bag of tricks too early it becomes hard work as the gains diminish. Growth slows with training age - first gains are so easy in comparison to those for someone with a 20 year training history!

thanks for all this advice ... what the heck is trolling

its where a dude comes on saying he takes steroids, weighs 70kg and wants to get to 80kg in a month after saying his weight and strength hasn't changed at all. boosting you should make up a girl account and try sneak under the radar

... i am planning on getting serious

good man. When I started, my training or diet probley wasnt 100% spot on, still proli isnt! but i trained 4 times a week and ate 6-8 meals a day and results speak for them self. If you plug away you can see a big diferance in 9-12 months if you take it seriously

easy as to put 8 to 10 kilos of FAT on in 4 weeks just keep eating big macs donuts and fizzy drink every 2 hours.

nah but seriously not very realistic mate get serious for a hole year and you might be able to gain 8 to 10 kilos and most of it be muscle. Building muscle takes a big commitment over a prolonged period of time not 4 weeks

a standard system alot of guys use when trying to bulk is try and gain a kilo a week over say 15 weeks this would get you to about 85kg and if your lucky half or even abit more could be new muscle fibre then you can diet back to about 78 kg and that would be a 8 kilo gain and a successfull bulk the gains become less and harder the longer you train but for someone new you could gain what i said above.

That's a very short time frame to give you an Idea when I first started training I was 182cm and about 75kg @ 13% 12 months later I was 88kg at around 11-12%. As far as newbie gains goes I considered this a pretty decent effort as my training was sketchy for the first few months until I found out how to train properly.

Therefore I highly suggest doing some reading about different training protocols particularly Mark Rippetoe's starting strength or a 5x5 prgram. You will need a good diet, good supplementation, good training protocol and good attitude to gain a decent amount of muscle in such a short period of time. As Nate said its a marathon not a sprint race.

Bare in mind also its not possible for you to gain that much muscle in the time period, You have to be realistic. In saying that you would be surprised by the difference that even just 3-5kg of muscle will make to your physique You should concentrate on making steady quality gains in strength and size, You are more likely to be able to keep the gains you make as well.

in all seriousness is gaining 10kgs of fat a bad thing? couldnt this be toned into muscle? Forgive me if i am sounding like an idiot.:P

You can't turn fat into muscle. fat is fat. just like muscle wont turn into fat. if you put on 10kg of fat and then cut or 'tone down' you will just lose 10kg of fat. However you would have gained some muscle during that time also so more realistically you are looking at gaining 10kg overall....a few kgs will be muscle and ~7kgs of fat. Thus when you cut down you will be a few Kgs heavier than when you started providing you lost all the fat you gained.

However the amount of fat:muscle you gain will be highly dependent on your diet and training, but no, you wont gain 8-10 kg of muscle in 4 weeks.

just train hard, heavy and intense, get your rest and eat like a horse.

even though you are trolling it isn't hard to put on 10kg in a month. eat all day everyday and you can stack on 2.5kg a week easy

10kg in a month? Really? I wish it was that easy.

1kg muscle, 9kg fat not a problem

this is boosting btw everyone stop taking him so seriously
