lol at some of the post's in that link. Yes. As PD said, A2g will help build what you're looking for, in the most efficient manner.

most of the BBs where we train actually stop to watch us lift and ask if we need the squat racks now. ive offered to help them into the sport but musy admit they are too weak minded, cant eat enough and are scared of hours of hard work. there are a couple of good hardcore BB lifting here though 8)

Also, a big Ni**a please regarding this post. Don't try an make ignorant generalisations, biased on what a couple pussy, wannabe, BB'ers do at ur GYM. They run from the squat rack scared, because you might want to use it?? The admit to be weak minded?? They waste time watching you lift moderate weights, when they should be going home an eating?? or staying focussed on their own fucking training?? They sound like some straight faggots to me... I appreciate the ribbing between the sports... But some dudes need to get off their high horses, for real.

No offence to Steak but I have to admit I like this post and agree with lightscribe. Obvoiusly those dudes are not real bodybuilders, to eat shit loads of food and get fat doesnt require a strong mind, a real bodybuilder is anything but weak minded!!

Ive found my legs grew quite well doing heavy low bar free and box squats, but my arse and hammys overpowered my quads. Ive found after adding in olympic squats and fronts a2g (some on here can vouch that I bottom out my squats) my quads are catching up. And as jigga said it looks fucking cool

yeah It was a generalisation really...sorry....what I was gettiing at is I cant say Ive seen many people get under the squat bar and say drive out 10 sets of hard deep squats is all...The hardcore guys, yeah sure but the Muscle and Fitness mag 4x 8 seems to be standard and when you ask why or for a few more sets all you get is a vacant look.... Real bodybuilders would be a pretty rare breed because of how much hard work and strict nutrition control it takes....fair comment? What is there 200-300 competitive BBs in Aucks a city with a million peeps? If it was easy everyone would walkin round jacked

And to make your point, how many of them even have respectable legs haha

Yeah but at the end of the day, they still can't hang with me haha not saying they aren't out there, just haven't found one yet, although my little brother is getting there with legs

obviously someone your weight but with an extra 7+ inches in height will struggle to lift the same because they have longer levers etc??

If someone is 5'10" and 73kg, maybe they would be better suited to yoga :pfft:

But I get what you mean, to be honest though, most dudes my height are in gymnastics (where I started out) or jockeys, not many are into lifting

haha that is true but there is this guy at my gym who is that height but is 75kg lol and I have personally seen him deadlift 230kg and others have witnessed him squat 220kg a2g 8 reps

the thing is he isnt that strong all the time I dont know if he is natural or not but he has lifted some heavy weights must be on a tonne of halo lol

I was once 5ft11 and 58kg haha

yea thats what I was thinking but he has no size so unsure i

f he is I want some of his stuff lol

From what I've read some gear is better geared (pun not intended) towards strength gains and if you aren't eating enough (which could also attribute to the big margins) then the size will not really come

*Disclaimer - I don't know exactly cause I don't know alot about gear
