Comparing our many organisations

Pseudonym

Recommended Posts

With the number of bodybuilding organisations that have sprung up recently, a lot of people (myself included) are totally confused as to who's who, and who offers what.

So we're going to put together a table which makes it easy to compare them all. I'll send each organisation a list of questions, and publish their replies. Questions like these:

- What is your organisation's mission statement?

- Who are you affiliated with internationally?

- How many competitions do you aim to hold each year?

- What classes do you offer in competitions?

- Who are the people running this organisation in NZ?

- Who are your judges?

That's my starting point. What else do you guys want to know?

Excellent idea.

Not sure how it could be asked, but the latest idea of entering multiple classes might be raised, who allows it and who doesn't.

And to what degree can the org change the rules to suit local comps. Remember something previously where routines were disallowed / canceled at the last minute.

I suppose watching the Olympics must really confuse you when one swimmer wins 8 gold medals in different events. How confusing can it be? You enter 2 grades that you are eligible for. An age grade can also do a weight grade as I did Over 40 years and also Over 90 Kilo grade.

If you are over 50 you are eligible for over 50,over 40 or a weight grade.

It took me all of 1.5 seconds to understand it.

Yes I would like to know the testing done at the INBA at Taupo as on the poster they say all competitors will be tested so who did it and at what cost as I know drug free nz will not do all and go private has a cost to it. If It was done the same way that I have read on AUS bodybuilding forums one of the so call natural comp over there was using pregnancy test kits that they got on the Internet.
