Has anyone tried a shakes only diet?

I was reading an old topic and came across the "Velocity Diet"

(Explained here: http://ifitandhealthy.com/velocity-diet-explained/)

It appealed to me because it will be pretty quick and easy to shove some ingredients in a blender to make your meals :pfft:

And also the fact that the food is blended will allow it to be absorbed by the body quicker/easier.

Now the problem I see with the velocity diet is there is no variety to the shakes. You just drink the same shake 5 times a day (or more) for a month.

So I'm looking for a diet with a variety of shakes which are tailored around providing the correct nutrients for the time of day, pre-workout, post-workout etc. and I would just tweak the quantities to get the calories I require. Has anyone seen anything like that? Had a bit of a search around but all I could find was individual recipes.
