You need some protein in the morning and something slower release before the gym. Take out your pre gym shake, add that scoop to your oats. You also need more good fats. Add some better fats and decrease the portion of oats

bowl of oats with scoop of protein powder

Yoghurt and a few eggs

180grm tuna 150gram cottage cheese rivatas

half your morning oats portion.Handful of mixed nuts

canned salmon plus some veges

Workout

Protein shake with banana

200gram steak and veges + olive oil over veges

They don't have to be exactly those items. Just a general need of protein in the morning, a slower release protein before your workout and possibly some carbs, and more good fats throughout the day. To add the protein and fat, you want to drop carbs a bit so you're still in a deficit hence lowering the amount of oats and bananas.

Large bowl of oats

Yoghurt Banana

more oats with heap of milk

protein shake with banana

Workout

Protein shake with banana

200gram steak and veges

agree with Phedder, but also get rid of your Banana from your post workout shake, if you have worked out you need the calories from the banana to get your daily intake correct then add them back into your diet in the form of oats with that first meal.

ie. if your breakfast currently is 80g of oats with 400ml of milk. Get rid of the banana post workout & eat 100g of oats with 500ml of milk in the morning.

Eating the Sugars Post workout isn't a bad thing (but is so if your primary goal is fat loss), i have read alot of good things about doing so, in most studies i have read that they are also good to have whilist trying to lose fat. But with most studies they have to fast for a certain amount of time before doing tests (12 hours or so). So most studies are 100% irrelevant to us that don't stop eating :pfft:

Unless of course you're willing to consider fasting as an aid to fat loss, in which case Intermittent Fasting could be useful to the OP. Just a suggestion from left field :)

Im not sure where each meal begins and ends, you could consider for lunch having some cooked kumera and tuna or some rice and tuna and get rid of the crackers, you would probably last a little longer on more substantial carbs. I would also ditch the banana and make sure your water intake is right up there.
