Hi All

Im just getting back into the gym after a decent absence, had shoulder reconstruction surgery at the start of last year and has taking me a long time to get back.

Im interested in loosing a lot of bodyfat and gaining muscle (i know its opposing methods). i was looking for some advice.I have been for the last couple of weeks training twice a day, i do an hour of light cardio (cycling and boxing) in the morning before breakfast and then weight training in the afternoon after a good few meals. trying to do this 4 times a week with 2 high interval cardio sessions aswell. My diet so far has been

Meal 1: after morning workout Bannana, no carb- protein shake, 1 weetbix, 1/2 skim milk.

Meal 2: no carb protein shake

Meal 3: chicken or beef + 1c green veggies and carrots

Meal 4 = meal 3

Meal 5: after workout = no carb protein shake

Meal 6: chicken or beef or fish + 1 c green veggies and carrots

Meal 7: dairy, cottage cheese or milk.

Im drinking a shit load of water like 7 litres a day as im on creatine aswell. I am interested in any comments on my training schedule and nutrition plan.

Also would like to incorporate egg beaters but i thought this was an american thing? are they at the supermarket in nz?

What are peoples thoughts on creatine? should i be using NO supplements instead if i want to get cut?

Thanks in advance

Haven't seen Eggbeaters here, I think you're right, they are an American thing... apart from actual eggs, the only source of egg protein I personally know of is Eggcel pasteurised/frozen egg whites and powdered egg whites.
