Any issues with Eating same thing all the time?

Change up your sources to provide your body with different profiles of amino acids. Are you eating for anything in particular?

No i just eat chicken becos its easy to cook n store. Also im a terrible cook :)

so i try to keep it the same as i dont really mind eating the same thing over and over again as long as it meets my needs.

Cooked steak once and my car tyre looked more appealing. :pfft:

But just wondering how would it affect the body in long term? would it affect muscle growth n so on?

IMO there are benefits to changing your protein/carb/fats sources..and no i dont have screeds of scientific piffle to back it nor have I studied it with all the google trainers. I think that a variety of protein sources during the day is the best way to go when you can. It keeps me motivated to eat (and I eat a lot) and Im sure the digestive system appreciates a rest from the longer to digest foods eg, steak all day every day might have it working harder for longer than for say 12 egg whites.

There is the risk of food allergies by constantly firing say tuna or chook into the hole too so I read on the interweb somewhere :roll:

Basically for me its a mental thing cos I sure cant do what your doing and eat chook all day every day :puke:

I would say the only thing that comes to mind is that you need to make sure you're getting a big enough variety of food to cover all your vitamins and minerals.

I heard that too. A guy told me that when he used to be a bodybuilder he ate so much broccoli that he became allergic to it. :shock: So now he can't eat it.

I always try and eat foods from a variety of sources, whether it's protein, carbs or veges. Apart from not being so mind numbing eating the same thing day in/day out (esp. when contest dieting), you'll give your body a much better range of vitamins/minerals/good fats (fish/nuts), amino acid profile etc..

Thanks for all the replies. I do take a multi everyday and eat some frozen veges everyday. So i maybe getting the vitamins n minerals i need.

But i will try to put some other meats just incase i get allergic to chicken or something. :shock: :shock:

That would be horrific and dont know wat i would do then. :pfft: :pfft:

Cant be vegetarian for sure. :pfft: :pfft:

But i guess there is no definite harm in eating the same thing except for the taste or any proven theories.
