HI WERE IN AUCKLAND CAN I PICK SUM 100-250KG TYRES??? CHEERS.

Are you a chick?

Have your husband poke around a construction site and find out where they get the TIRES changed, that place will have the right TIRE for your flipping pleasure, and they should be able to weigh it for you to find an exact weight. Like the other guy said, they have to pay a recycling fee (at least here on the right side of the equator) so you can probably pick one up for pretty cheap if not free. :)

Any tyre shop that does Loaders / Skidders would be your best bet.

They cost a fortune to dump so they may even deliver it for free!

The Ontario Strongman website has a list of major brands & specs that gives weights (subtract some for wear but most of weight is in steel belts anyway).

Hiway Stabilisers, Fulton Hogan, Gibbons etc ask to talk with the maintainence yard foreman. I got ours from the Wiri Tip.

To give you an idea of what they weigh we have a 220kg earthmover tyre that stands 1500mm tall and 550mm wide and can be flipped for reps by most members with the correct technique. Check out the Powerhouse thread on these forums as Old Bull has a tyre flipping vid up with a 250kg tyre. Your a big guy so should find a tyre like this a good GPP tool for reps.
