hey people,iv purchased some natural whey protien powder and its not the best flavor,im adding 5 grms bcaa powder and 5 grms glutamine powder.

i have been adding a few drops of vanilla essence to change the taste. :idea2:

im just courious to know if its ok to add a teaspoon of coffee for flavor, and it also has caffine too,so thats got to be a bonus.

but just not sure if it will effect the uptake of vitamins or amino acids?

does anyone else do this?

hey man, i don't think it would effect the uptake of anything (someone else may know for sure) but alot of the "ripped" protein powders out there are full of caffeine & still seem to work really well (they just cost alot of $).

I quite often chuck a tsp of coffee in my pre workout shake just for the pickup it gives you if you are low on energy while dieting for instance (similar to any pre work out supp @ a fraction of the cost). I don't make it a rule to stick it in there otherwise it will just be another thing i end up relying on
