Achieved!

200 was goal for NIs. Had this for third attempt but it stalled past the knees. Still happy with a 190kg dead and a 10kg PB in 2 months.

your a savage TLG think you should become fulltime bb now making us heavy weights look like babies.

Cool guys, but ahhh:
Men must hit 300kg in the deadlift in a competition any time though out 2011 finish date Dec 20th 2011

Do you wanna start a new thread, ending this year? :)

Yeah ok bro  but I'll change my goals due to drop in bodyweight and weight class new goal 280kg 3 X bodyweight come dec equipped cheers

or better still how about making the big three lifts plus total thread must be done in comp?

Sweet mate, I'll start one up. I'll think of the best way to hook it all up and get it going later today

Ha, well maybe that isn't such a bad idea throwing some sort of pound-for-pound element into it.

Hesitant to do Wilks, but maybe a <100kg category, and a >100kg catgory?

Keen on a new comp lifts thread

Why not just stick with the IPF weight classes and make it <105kg and >105kg? If the lifts need to be done in competition, it makes sense to stick to competition classes.

I did think of that, but a) I didn't want it to look as though I was trying to place myself (@104) in the "lighter" class :pfft:, and b) if we're going to make blanket "lightweight" and "heavyweight" categories, I thought making 100 the cutoff made more sense to a general lifter than a slightly odd 105 number.

But maybe that's just me... just throwing ideas around at this stage.

But you're right, we will be competing in divisions (although gym push/pulls were allowed last time?), however in the case of making 105s the cutoff, you'd have a lot more lightweight classes than heavyweight. I'd suggest if we went that way to maybe make 93 the cutoff, just so there are 3 weight divisions in the "heavy" category, and 4 in the "light" - as opposed to a 2/5 split.

It would to a general lifter, but if the lifts need to be done in competition that makes it Powerlifting specific, so why be concerned with a general lifters perception?

Yep, that makes good sense too  Was more backing using the official weight classes for cut offs as opposed to a slightly 'prettier' 100. Could also just add the specific weight class the person is in next to their names and desired lifts etc. Eg Name - xxx, yyy, zzz, @weight (Classic/Raw/Equipped)?
