14 year old looking for advice

First you need to decide if your top priority is losing fat or gaining muscle. As long as your not getting too fat, the best bet would probably be to build muscle and worry about the fat later. If you want to build muscle, eat more than what you currently eat every day, and if you want to loose fat eat less. Around 500 calories either way would be good (that's roughly 2000 kilojoules, look on the back of food packets to see how much kilojoules the food contains).

You need to do a proper routine, 3-4 days a week would be fine, definately not 2 hours a day for 5 days as that will lead to over training. You need to find a balanced routine also that includes more than just benching and arm work etc. Look up routines on the Internet and do a pre-made routine, some good ones I have used in the past are Starting Strength and HCT-12. Don't edit the routine you end up using, just follow it exactly as there is a lot of science behind it that you really won't understand

thanks for all your supportive advice. and i dont tend to eat during the day, i might have some chippies and a sandwich after school but thats about it untill tea time. and my top priority at the moment is to lose fat as im already quite strong i would just like to reveal my muscles and build them further once they are visible.

thanks

Some good advice from cantygirl and greemah right there.

At this stage it's probably easiest to modify your diet bit by bit, rather than throw the whole lot out and start from scratch. At 14, you've definitely got time on your side. As has been said, start by having 6 meals with a protein source in each.

whats the point in writing on a forum asking for advice when all you get is arseholes like you thinking there better than everybody else. if i want to be a succesful bodybuilder sometime then whats to stop me? i started this post asking for advice not asking for people to try and tell me i cant do it. if youve got a problem with me wanting to get into bodybuilding or anything then take it somewhere else and dont bothering posting here because i realy dont give a toss what youv got to say

i woulda helped u alot, but you arent even reading what people are posting cause you asking the same questions, what do i eat, what do i eat, what do i eat! people have told you what kind of foods to eat and to post up what you are presently eating.

mate you cant even help yourself by answering some simple questions which are gonna result in you getting alot of help.

just train and eat as you are, its quite expensive to support a bodybuilders eating habits especially at 14.

well my meals varie, say 1 night i might have roast beef and roast vegetables and the next night i might have steak eggs and chips. i usually have red meat and white meat about every second night or so. i usualy dont eat untill i get home from school at night. i eat fish and chicken atleast 2 times a week and i have vegetables with every meal

pretty sure i told you what i eat. thats as good as i can describe it. as i said my meals tend to varie. i asked what sort of foods to eat so that i could alter my current diet and work around it to make it work for my needs.

Try having some oats or weet-bix for breakfast and a few hard boiled eggs. For school lunch sandwhiches always work, some leftover meats from dinner with tomato/lettuce etc, an apple or banana wouldn't hurt either, maybe some carrot sticks. If you can down some cottage cheese and some mixed nuts before you go to bed that would provide you with some slow digesting protein and good fats to help you recover and grow while you sleep.

At 14 you shouldn't really try to diet to lose weight, your still growing and gaining muscle so measuring weight isn't a good idea. Go by the mirror instead, if you notice you're still gaining fat then cut back on the portions until you notice a slow decrease in body fat. You don't want to do anything drastic at this point in your life.

Lunch: N/A

Afternoon tea: fish and chips

Supper: juice

Any snacks: a couple cookietimes

at 14 cigarettes go for $1 each in school, its cheaper and more common to after eating a banana peel out the inside of the skin and leave it on the classroom windowsill behind the curtains to dry out for couple days and then u smoke that shit! smoking da banana skins!
