Thanks, I do love salmon :) Im going to try to make those bars you suggested! They sound nice, do they come out quite dry? And I'm guessing they're pretty filling too!

My homemede oaty bars? Well, you've just got to be really careful about how much water you use. I don't have an exact amount that I use - I put 'just enough' to soak the oats to begin with. Then once I've added the peanut butter and protein powder I just add a little more and a little more til it's fully mixed. It can take a while to mix it all up and can be a bit of work, which is why there is the temptation to make it easier and chuck some more water in it - DON'T DO IT! I once ended up with some really sloppy ones as a result!

At the moment I'm using a chocolate coconut powder, but in the past I've used others like vanilla and addeed a few sultanas or nuts to it.

They're filling enough for one meal of 6-7 - I make sure I cut them so that they are around the 300 calorie mark for one bar which is just right.

Thise salmon muffins sound delicious! I must give those a go.

A simple quick snack I quite enjoy is a Ryvita cracker or two with a spoonful of cottage spread on top. You can get a fruit and seed crunch one which is a tad sweet and way better than the flavourless cardboard ones :)
