Logical Weekly Detox Plan for Trainers!?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has a detox plan to follow, while we are training?

I need to asap, got 2mths before my partner comes home & I aint getting any younger! Also he's a sport trainer so I want to keep up with him in the 'healthy slim' area etc! Thanks Heaps and heaps! :doh:

Hmm... I duno about any logical detoxes they all seem pretty extreme. I've had friends do the lemon detox looking for a fast fix to weight loss. Despite being complete bitches the whole time they ended up with really clear skin!!

I do the lemon squeezed in a glass of warm water thing every morning and night to get the same effect.

But I wouldn't recommend it for weight loss.

What do you mean by detox, Pushme? Are you looking for a fat-loss diet?

Yes 'fat loss' is at top of the list, but i'm just feeling gluggy, bloated etc so I thought a nice detox would do the trick! but I will admit, I have been eating vegies, fruit, egg's & meat but yeah doesnt seem to be making much diff with me!

Are you eating any of the below?

Dairy,Legumes nightshade vegetables,nuts/seeds,processed oils (vegetable oils),seafood,eggs (YES).

How much do you weigh and how much water do you drink? Personally I wouldn't worry about the Fat Loss just yet until GI issues are resolved.

Yes I eat all of above! , my weight ummm, 2 embarried to type that on here but i can sadly say that my bmi is 27 and its ment to be between 20 - 25! crap! Oh yeah and I drink water like a fish! but I do get bored of it so I drink me coffee, but am drinking fruit juice & ginger ale atm cause i've got the flu!

Don't pay any attention to BMI for individual use, it's worthless. It doesn't take into account lean body mass and fat mass, just total body mass. I'd say most top bodybuilders have a BMI over 30, which would make them obese. Certainly don't look it. Go on the mirror and BF% if you're up to getting that checked every now and again. If you want to lose fat, you have to eat less calories than you're using during the day, but to help maintain the muscle you have you should try and keep protein intake high and make sure to actually use your muscles the convince the body they're worth keeping around, so lift weights that are heavy for you.
