longer 1st cycle

just wondering from people in the know what your thoughts are on this?

First of all i would like to apoligise if this has already been gone over but i have pretty much read everything that i can find :wink:

seems to be alot of people that run say 500mg test e for 10 weeks first cycle.

& seems to be alot of people that think that is a bit short for a first cycle as you are ending it just as you are starting to get good gains.

wondering if something like 375mg test e for 20 weeks first cycle would yield better results. Or whether that is to long ?

Before anyone tells me to go and read & research, I HAVE.

i am just wanting some opinions from the knowledgeable chaps on here.

my first cycle length 14 weeks

250mg sust per week for 14 weeks 20mg dbol first 4 weeks then switched to 200mg deca per week for last 10.

im not saying this is the right or wrong first cycle this is just what i did was about 6 years ago made great gains and kept about half after pct was finished sides were minimal.

did you notice a drop in strength when you dropped the dbol?

probably would off keept getting stronger but i was lucky enough to have someone experienced plan this for me and he advised against going any longer so to lessen sides and basically be able to recover quicker and see how things go its your first cycle eventually if you carry on and do more cycles you can end up in the 20 week + longer cycles or the cycle that never ends no one likes to admit it but this does happen.

no drop in strengh by the time i dropped the dbol the sust was fully kicked in consistantly got stronger dbol was only used so too see and feel results from day one still use dbol the same way now

i made alot of gains in my first cycle probably the most 14 weeks was plenty

hopefully some off the other guys can give there opinions hope that sort off helps

if i had gone longer i probably would off kept getting stronger but i was lucky enough to have someone experienced plan this for me and he advised against it so to lessen chance of sides and make sure recovering back to normal is not too hard and then you can assess if you want too continue again down this track eventually you can end up in the 20 week + cycle or the cycle that never ends no one likes to admit it but it happens

and no drop in strength after i stopped dbol by that stage the test had fully kicked in and consistantly got stronger i still use dbol the same way today just a nice kickstart i made my biggest gains in my first cycle

400mg wk boldenone for 14wks

40mg day liquid dbol for 4 weeks

i lost 2kgs after cycle and kept about 70% strength gains

i noticed after about week 8/9 didnt put on extra weight just strength slightly climbed.i bounced back pretty quick from this and possibly could hav cut it at 12wks.hard to stop once ur own for first time :lol:

This is indeed a very good question & one I'm not sure I have seen on forums suprisingly. I'm not too sure of the answer but I think I can say pretty certain that with either 375 or 500mg PW you will shut down your HPTA. So after 20 weeks you have got a slightly more difficult job with PCT to restart your axis. I think 10 weks is too short for a Test based cycle. You really start peaking around 8 weeks so that leaves only a couple weeks at full throttle. I feel 12 or 14 weeks is more productive. However if you want to play it safe then stick with the short 8 weekers & run something like Sustanon or Propionate.

Cheers for the MNZ, i hadn't thought of the difference between the lag in getting the naturals fired up again. So in light of this is there much difference between a 10 wk cycle & a 14 wk cycle?
