Hi Henny

I'm new to the supplement market and have been doing a lot of research over the last week. I have been weight training for over a year now but seemed to have plateaued hence the looking into supplements. I'm keen to buy NZ products and just found nutra-whey after reading this thread.

I want to build strength and definition not really worried about mass (I'm 189cm 84kg) would like to lose some fat off my stomach (mainly still have little love handles which I'm finding hard to burn off). What would you recommend from your product line? Also I couldn't find where to ask for samples on your site?

thanks

Yeah I'm looking at trying the nutratech range out now. Would nutra-whey be enough or would i need to supplement it with BCAA capsules also?

If you are just after upping protein while losing some flab, then whey should be fine, if you have some hard earned muscle that you need to keep as much as possible of then you can add some BCAA to try and keep more muscle while losing fat. Adding more supplements to you shopping cart doesn't necessarily mean more results.

On a side note , you say you have plateaued, in which sense is that, if you stopped gaining you could maybe up your food intake as well, if you have only been training for a year then your nutritional requirements might have increased if you added some meat, other way round if you are not losing enough fat , you should look into your diet. How does a typical day eating look?

My diet was terrible for awhile but I've managed to bring it in over the last month. Usual day is toast and a banana for breakfast then go to the gym, lunch is a sandwich or wrap from habitual fix or subway then dinner changes a lot but it's usually chicken n veg on rice, stir frys or some meat veg and potatoes.

Got the mail, I hate to break it but man your diet does not look good at all, if you want to look abnormal you will have to eat abnormal, at the moment I think you are eating normal. Will reply to your mail.
