Rest times for Sheiko

Recommended Posts

Changing the Plates, ticking the lift in the book, have a drink (Squats) rolling the wraps done.

That's about where I was pitching it - finish a set, adjust weights, drink, sit and focus, touch the bar and go... was thinking that if I'm feeling the rest times are too long, maybe I'm still a wee bit light?

Good attitude your conditioning will pick up as the programme progresses.

Sheiko is a sultry beast it draws you in with a easy week one but ask the rest of the comrades the Sheiko Flu kicks in on week 3 week 4 well you have to experience it.

It,s depends principally to the sets intensity. For maximun hypertrophy, the incomplete rest times take to an insufficient metabolic recovery between series, that added to a major volume of training would take us to the time to a metabolic supercompensation, increasing the size.

Also short rests increase the production of lactic acid and this leads in turn to an increase of the gh.

I like for regular hypertrophy routines rest times between 60/90 secs.
