eat me whey

Wow just got some eat me whey recently

ive been using it for a week now starting with strawberry, it was bitter, when i mixed it with my oats it was not good :C

I thought it may of just been the strawberry, so i tried the vanilla this morn, same thing. Foul

Anyone else found the same thing? last time i got eatme it was fine

Yes, I've just started Strawberry Eatme too, and noticed the same thing. It tastes like the Aspartame sweetener is giving it that taste.

Have you tried the chocolate? I had the same problem with the strawberry, but the chocolate is just right for my tastes.

Judging from their website changes, looks like they've changed ownership recently. That may have something to do with it? Change of formula maybe?

Yeah I've never had problems with Eatme, but this stuff is noticeably different. the sweetener almost tastes like stevia, it has a strong bitter aftertaste, havent tried choc yet. As it stands now it is rather foul to the point where I would question the safety or pureness of the product.

Your taste buds change. I ate cornflakes for years and thought it tasted amazing then evetually it started to taste diff and I couldn't really eat it anymore

yeah i got free samples and its the worst stuff iv ever tried tastes dodgy as.

i go through a 1kg bag off eatme concentrate a week all flavours no problem have had nicer proteins but at 35 a bag ill keep getting eatme.

yeah i think it could be just my taste, cant really complain i guess at the price, that and it is a fitness supplement not a maccas thickshake

tried choc today and i could still taste the sweetener but it wasn't so foul with the choc flavour.

next time...unflavoured ftw, lesson learned

I found the chocolate flavour pretty good, it didn't taste over the top but still it didn't taste crap.

My mistake, one's a coffee shop, Nutrition Direct have owned it since May 2008 so it probably hasn't changed hands.

I put coffee w purevia in the natural one (after trying it) and came out yummo! I am concerned about your diet tho gymrat.. is ass a good source of protein??? :pfft:
