The Auckland Powerlifting Association is holding a Powerlifting Workshop.

Date: Sunday 18th of July 2010

Venue: Club Physical, New Lynn (Cnr of Margan Ave & Titirangi Road)

Times: 1.00pm- 6.00pm

Admission: Free to Auckland members and friends

Presented by: Steve Lousich & Steve King.

Start: 1.00pm

Program for the day includes:

Competition Equipment and Preparation

Technical Rules- Q & A’s; Steve Lousich & Steve King

Drug Education- Andrew Slyvester (Drug Free Sport NZ)

Practical Demonstrations in Club Physical Gymnasium:

Squat- Steve King

Benchpress: Steve Lousich

Deadlift: Guest lifter

Conclusion: 6.00pm.

It was very helpful to hear your thoughts on the squat bench and dead, enlightening to hear Drug Free Sports presentation and to come away armed with a few snippets to put into our training.
