Warm-up / stretching

i tore my pec minor doing dips because i didnt do any stretching/warming up. i highly recommend incorporating a light warm up stretch routine before lifting weights. luckily it was only a grade 1 tear, but 5 weeks later and its still not right.

i agree with elite121 on the quote, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". i havnt done any research on the whole SMR thing, but a general warm up and stretch doesn't go a stray. even if your only warming up/stretching the body part your doing. and i think a light stretch before, and a medium stretch afterward maybe when your at home is a good idea. then maybe designate 1 day a week to spend a bit of time doing a proper stretch routine.

on another note, im on the coast too, and ive always noticed that coast barbell club sign outside wendys and always wanted to check it out. was thinking about dropping my mate/training partner off there whos training to be a power lifter at the moment. ill be sure to come say hi.
