hi all,my names joe ive been mucking around with weights on and off since i was 13,ive recently got into a more structured bodybuilding routine over the past 3-4 months with help from a freind and ex bodybuilder,im roughly 183-ish cm tall and started at 103kg,after 4 months i weigh 109kg so packing on the beef pretty good,i just started taking creatine 4 weeks ago aswell as protein powder, from what ive read protein is the goods so i eat alot of fish, eggs, chicken and red meat.

also i work on a fishing boat and i work at sea for 3 weeks and get 3 weeks off on land,my work hours on the boat are 12hours on and 6 hours off  which aint much time to sleep,so i make up for lost sleep time when i get home,i have no weights on the boat, but there plenty of physical work and good tucker \:D/ just wondering can my job effect me from building muscle???

i train at the gisborne ymca approx 3-4 times a week for 1.5hours and i train majors bodyparts at the moment, legs, back, chest and arms

anyway if any bodybuilding pros have got any musclebuilding tips etc

im all ears

Welcome mate. With those stats, and assuming it's not fat, it sounds like you've made damn good progress despite your job. Is that you in the avatar pic?

I think we've got another fisherman on the forum, but I can't remember who. I'm sure someone will, though.

oh f*ck yeah good idea getting some size on now while its cooler and winter then shred for summer sun and beach lol.

While your on the boat do you do any bodyweight stuff like a hundred chins every day couple hundred press ups those two alone work a lot of your muscle groups....

What you fishing for bro Bluefin??

i used to do press ups id start out with 50 strait

then 5xsets of 20 gets the tris n chest throbbing

but since ive been reading up on bb info

it pays not to overstress my body, working 12 and getting 6 hours off to rest aint much time,so gota play it safe or ill lose all my mass,

at the moment were fishing for hoki in the cook strait

bro you wont overtrian to the point of losing mass by doing pressups and pullups, More likely you will lose some mass if your not eating very well when you out on the sea, make sure you keep that food going in man especially if you wanna be 118kg thats truely massive!!!!!
