Couscous as a carb source

Haven't used it for carbs while training, but yes, in the past it's been a good source of clean carbs for me. Just watch (or factor in) any oil that you use if you make tabouleh with it.

I tried to like quinoa (for similar reasons) but it just didn't appeal as much as couscous for me. You can flavour couscous quite a lot with stocks and so on for variety.

Curious. Anyone else got more info to offer on the couscous crap? Would you personally consume it on a cutting diet? Yeye or nay? Hate cooking rice, sick of that ish.

Yup, +1 for couscous here. You're supposed to mix in some butter once it's cooked but it's not vital. Does make it taste better though so IIFYM, etc. Nice to mix in some fresh herbs like flat leaf parsley or coriander too. Main attraction for me is it is quick to make.
