Call me a dumbarse by why do NABBA posts keep getting locked out. The Newsletter is the second one in recent times.

I would have thought the more info out there the better. Appreciate there's too much bickering but info is info.

Or would it be more appropriate to have a Federation Section where info can get posted and users peruse it at their leisure.

We've offered special user accounts to each of the federations that allow them to lock their own topics. This means they can publish announcements and updates without having them derailed by arguments.

It's certainly not to restrict public debate. If there's ever an issue you want to discuss, feel free to create your own topic to talk about it.
