Hey All,

Im new to this site so thought id introduce myself :)

I have decided to compete in my first ever Body Building comp in Oct. Looking at entering the Shape Section.... still all very new and have no idea what to expect!

So if anyone has any great tips or contact please let me know \:D/

Going to see a nutritionist next week so can get my chocolate obesession under control ha ha :pfft:

Hey Schatsy,

Good on you! One tip on your chocolate obsession - I had a chronic one years ago, I couldn't even walk past a dairy without buying a bar to munch on! I used to have them hidden around the house too! But I started taking liquid chromium (necessary for normal insulin metabolism ) 5ml a day, that coupled with getting my butt training again really seemed to knock the cravings on the head! Mention it to your nutritionist.......

Hi Schatsy, Wicked shit on entering your first comp! Its awesome to have a goal in sight and something to focus on regarding your training :nod:

I'm sure you'll get heaps of tips and help on here and make sure you keep us posted on your progress. Put some pics up :D

Hi and welcome, my only concern is a nutritionist will not necessary set you up with a bodybuilding diet. Whether you are competing in physique, figure or shape the diet is somewhat similar, your bodyshape and muscle determine which section you compete in. Let us know what they prescribe for you, we can all give you some helpful advise.

Good decision and good luck! Where did you find out about the locations and dates of the competitions? How do you register? I am in Christchurch and haven't heard of any??? Must be lookin in all the wrong places...Hahaha.

I often visit Tom Venuto's website and get some good nutritional advice, and lots of good tips.Anyway,again best of luck!
