Sorry!

This site is in read-only mode right now. You can browse all our old topics (and there's a lot of them) but you won't be able to add to them.

So where do I start?

MSBond, Don't get us all wrong. You do seem to have a nice figure/shape from your pics. But it's hard to see how you compare to some of those girls in the comp photos. It's almost like you need to compare yourself with a competitive bodybuilder whilst standing with them in the mirror. You will notice differences. Are there any in your area you could have a training session and a yarn with to see exactly what is involved? I think that is really where you need to start...

You have to understand MSBOND that it just sounds extremely arrogant to say you can compete and win in a bodybuilding competition without the months of intense training and dieting that bodybuilders do.

Its the same as any other sport. You cant expect to compete at that level just being naturally good.

I saw that womens weekly article. Think sometimes they downplay the effort put into things like that to make it a better story.

But your lucky to have a naturally good physique so I think you would do well if you trained and dieted to compete. Good luck

Figure are (supposed to be) more "lean" than "big" when talking muscularity. If this girl lifted weights for a few months and came in with really good conditioning, she could fit figure. As it stands, she's too small.

She has a base in the sense that she's not sedentary and is probably in good aerobic condition from her job, but she's still going to have to spend some time balancing things out before attempting to compete, even in figure.

My 2c worth - I think you could usefully have a look at Keith Jolly's Muscle Imaging website to see what the various classes look like. IMO, you're way too light for physique, and possibly even too light or lean for figure or body fitness. Overlook for a moment the fact that the women here have some silicon assistance (which is inevitable when you drive bodyfat to low levels, and look at the nature of their shoulder and thigh development, for example. Sure, some of the way their muscles look is down to tan-in-a-can, but much more of it is due to rigorous dedication and hard work.

Raechelle Chase, who appeared on TV One's Game On on Saturday, is currently doing 2-3 hours cardio/ day and a one-hour weights work out, while dieting her ass off...

haha, MEAT = YUK. Dont like the stuff aye. Vegetarian here who doesnt like veges
So, you don't like veggies, you don't eat meat - what does that leave ? Fruit, eggs, ?
