I think it would depend on how much you have.

Im sure a vial or two wont get you into trouble but dont count on it as ive never been caught with gear before im just guessing.

I would like to know what the penalties are as well.

If you get caught you will be charged under the medicines act. Pretty sure it fine only but if its your first time and your not a villan its only a slap on the wrist as far as punishment in NZ goes.

There isnt a police unit searching out users of steroids but if your a f*cktard and draw attention to yourself for other reasons ou will get prosecuted.

The problem is with travel over seas and potential employers when they see that kind of conviction like your a druggy.

Possession for suppy can see you sharing a cell with a big dicked homo

Its like any illegal behaviour you know the consequences so dont cry if you get caught.

For me, some of the reasons bans and law changes are brought about is because all the dumbarses, dipshits and fucktards take things too far. If you're gonna use gear, be sensible and mature about it. Don't go telling all your mates to show off, or go past recommended doses to try and speed up the growth process. Take advice and retain knowledge from those that know.

It's always those who try to show off, gob off, push past the limits etc that f*ck everything up for those who take a more common sense, mature approach. And that relates to most recreational pursuits.

Geez, and don't get me started on all those PC, tree hugging, new age, bonding huggy types.

End of rant. :pfft:

For possession and personal use you will get a fine. They put it under prescription medicines and the fine is small.

Be mindful that as well as possession and use you may also get stung with import if you don't tell them where you got it.. (don't be a dog lol keep that shit to yourself) and possibly intent to distribute if you have a large quantity. However they have no set guidelines as to how much constitutes personal use so unless you tell them you're making a living from selling it you won't face a distribution charge.

This is from personal experience. Put your stuff in a common area of your house and you can argue someone left it there and you didn't know about it, then the onus of proof is on the police.. etc etc etc etc

Good luck with that the homeowner would be taking the consequences if its in a common area.

Ummmm I think you missed the point jimjim, no one takes the blame..

Common area, anyone could have come and left it there.

If you can avoid the conviction albeit relatively minor, then you are best to try and avoid it. It might seem small but when you get background checks and the like it sure follows you around for a while.

Lol = I dont think that goes in this country mate.

The astray in my car is a common area...do you reckon I could use that excuse if I got pulled up by a cop with my glass pipe in there?

Cars are different, but if it's in the boot it's ok... if it were in your ashtray you'd be able to see it!

You would think that people who break the law, no matter how inane it seems would educate themselves about the repercussions. Clearly not lol...

The law protects us, presumption of innocence etc etc etc

Mind you with your huge guns they'll just assume you're on it eh.. helps to be puny like me then it's more believable ha ha ha

It's not about being stupid jimjim, it's about the onus of proof as to who that stuff belongs to. It is plausible to say a bunch of people came to your house the day before for a party and you didn't know everyone and someone left a bag or whatever there. Sure if you have all your shit out on the table in plain sight then it's hard to say that but if it's just in a bag or something then you can argue that point.

The police are constantly frustrated by our RIGHTS as citizens! If they could just assume without proving ownership then that would be a different story... but fortunately we do still have rights!

I didnt say you were stupid I said wrong and Ill say it again you are wrong.

constantly fustrated by your rights as a citizen come on man you dont think they care that much do you. Police powers of search and arrest are fairly powerful if you think the excuse of "having a party and some stranger left it in my lounge" are enough to bamboozle the police, you should try that one I bet it doesnt get you far.

Well actually I have used something very similar and it worked... you don't have to fool the police you have just have to introduce a plausible reason for it being their and you not knowing about it...

so actually I am not wrong but thank you oh wordly one, I think the this particular thread started asking about experience with the law.. and what is yours jimjim?

I know they don't care about steroids hence I know that a flimsy excuse is enough for them to just leave it alone. Sure they'll try hard if its a bag full of pot or amphetamine but for a few steroids that they know will only garner you a small fine. You give them a plausible reason in court and uyou won't even cop the fine.

actually jimjim is correct - the fact is, saying something isnt yours, or that you dont know how it got there, is simply not good enough. as long as the 5-0 has 'reasonable grounds', the oniss is on YOU to provide evidence to the contrary.

And thats the way it has to be, do you think shappelle corby was happy in that thai prison? she tried the"i dont know how that dak got in my bag", and of course it didnt hold up in court!

If the cops pull you over, and find something stashed in your boot, the oniss is on YOU to provide an alternative. otherwise every c*nt could just deny knowledge, and get off their charges.

Feel free to test your theory out though, say hi to tiny tim in paremoremo for me!
