Does anyone have an electronic version of Bill Starr's original 5x5 book, or point me in the direction of one? I'm keen to try the 5x5, and would like to read the original book, as it sounds like quite a read.

But I'm still keen to read Starr's original book if anyone has an e-copy.

Not what your looking for but this website has quite a bit of info on Starr's 5x5 and a number of other strength training programs.

Be careful w/ all those sites claiming "Bill Starr's 5x5". Most of them aren't anything of the sort, and the internet ripoffs aren't nearly as useful.

Yeah that's why I was hoping to go straight to the horse's mouth, so to speak. I've looked quite a bit at the "5x5" plans out there, and from what I can see, the basic premise holds true, and I'd be better off taking it as a "base" to work from, rather than treating any of them as gospel. Hence I figured I'd be best to go back to the source, follow the rationale behind it, and then apply that to me. If that makes sense

Thanks Pman, looks like I'm not gonna be able to find an ebook anywhere, even the great god Google was of no help, so it'll be a case of saving some pennies and doing old-school (ie on paper)
