Anyone here go to Strike Force in New Lynn?

What's teh score there? They seem pretty good at pushing out good fighters.

I have been out of teh game for a couple of years, and am keen to get back into it, with my son.

Keen on hearing from anyone with personal knowledge. Cheers.

sweet. I used to train muay thai in the 90's, went on to bouncing through teh 2000's. Done the CQB with the Todd Group etc.

My son is old enough now.

It is a decent drive from my place, but hell, if I can swing it... I will

I already spend time at the gym, and the wife's not too impressed (but loves the body... go figure)

Cheers for your reply.

Strike force in new lynn is one of the top clubs in the country,if the the best!! Aaron Boyes (the founder and top instructor there) grew up in a family of martial artists. His father is a Tai Chi master and the foremost authority on "push hands" Tai Chi in the country. His brother is an BJJ instructor. So Aaron grew up studying martial arts from 5 years old. Over the years he has trained in numerous different arts including combined martial arts (CMA), Kempo,Tai Chi, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Brazzillian Jui Jitsu (BJJ), Boxing and many others. He holds black belts and various 1st and 2nd dans in a variety of diciplines as well as dozens of national and world championships titles, and has had over 100 fights as a Muay Thai professional.

But above all for Aaron his gym is a passion. Eveyone speaks of it as a family where everyone is there to help and learn from each other.Last year during the resesion when some members lost thier jobs Aaron told them not to worry about paying any fees untill they started working again.

I myself have done martial arts since I was 10 years old and been a member of many different diciplines. But in one on one sessions with Aaron I learnt more in a few months than in 8 years doing Lee Guar.
