NABBA/WFF NZ are very proud to announce Mark Anderson's "Top of the South Championships" following on from our inaugural event in Christchurch & preceding our National Championships in Christchurch on 2nd October 2010. Registration will be held on the Friday night at a venue to be advised.

Mark is one of New Zealand's top Bodybuilders & together with Dylan Stephens they have run one of the countries top regional shows in Blenheim each year. This is another great opportunity to experience our "One Show Format" starting at 12 noon on Saturday 4 September & provide an excellent platform to jump up into our National show in CHC on 2 October. It also gives athletes from the lower half of the North Island a close by event with easy access by road/ferry from Wellington.

The "Christchurch Team" together with officials from Australia will be supporting Mark & Dylan at their show. Your attendance as a competitor or spectator would be gratefully appreciated. More updates & information as it comes to hand.

Just a bit of an update on Mark & Dylan's Show now only 5 weeks away. Interest has been good with a number of athletes coming up from Christchurch, across from Nelson & the West Coast, several from the Wellington area & of course from Blenheim. For all those athletes preparing for this show the Entry Fee will be $50. If you are not already a NABBA/WFF NZ Member you will be required to pay the annual membership fee of $50 as well.

We have assembled a very high level group of Judges to officiate at the Show-

Strong interest continues to build for our second NZ show in Blenheim in 2 weeks time with upwards of 50 athletes putting up their hand & bodies on the line. Surprisingly, there is a strong presence coming from the Male side, so girls don't forget its not too late to register your interest in Glamour, Fitness or any one of the NABBA or WFF Figure Classes. Although we will be accepting entries up to registration on Fri night on 3rd Sept, the promoters would be very grateful to have all your event entry, membership & music CDs in before this as previously mentioned. A fantastic show only marred by events that affected many of the competitors & officials, myself included, by the big quake that hit Christchurch City on the morning of the show. This was a big shock to many of us that had families back at home & my heartfelt admiration & gratitude is extended to all those that stayed on to do the show & be part of the official team. Unfortunately our numbers were a little down on expectations as some competitors were travelling up from Christchurch early on the Sat morning did not make it & a couple needed to return to their families. But never the less I would like to thank all those that took part on behalf of NABBBA/WFF NZ & Mark & Dylan. The standard was exceptionally high & I cannot pick out anyone that stood out because without doubt every person had given their very best in their preparation, condition & posing routines. Results & some great pics will be available on GoFigure & our Website in the next couple of days & lookout for some of Big Mark Anderson's impromptu guest pose . Big thanks to the Australian Officials Graeme Lancefield, Brian McNichol, Tony Bensa & David Boscaglia. Great job guys.
