Hey OF. I am really impressed with the weights you are now lifting. You have left me behind on a lot. The picks are great. Love those lats too. Thought provoking stuff. Impressed by your dedication. May c u on the dark side yet. But not this side of Christmas.

Not too much of a week as work travel always interferes in some way.

Been pushing hard all week, might be due to being on the last 4 weeks of this particular routine where reps are 6-9. It's where it's supposed I use the biggest weights. All I feel at the moment is sore. Arms, shoulders and back all have constant nagging pain.

Lost a kilo last week, but a slight change in diet has seen me gain over 2kgs this week (might have been the dodgy pie or sausage roll I had :nod: ).

Managed a PB on squats. 120 x 3. Had a session at Bodycheck. Not a bad gym but definitely not for PLers as most of it is machine based.

Shoulders last night - again increased my best weight on DB Press with more reps. Tried Clean and Press for the first time. Shit, that sure takes it our of you, can see the traps gaining from this.

Began tapering off teste this week, eq remains at 400 for a few more weeks.

Slightly better week so far. Back to pre-workout dbol. I seem to get better strength from them. The weight fairy gave some weight then took it away. Wish it would bloody stick and steadily increase. Pissing me off atm.

Sampling of some of the better weights. No where near nzmm, TT, gasp, steak etc, but good enough for an old skinny guy.

Supps this week.

EQ - 400mg

Stan - 30mg per day only on training days

DHEA - 3 tabs per day

Prov - got 3 days worth left so will use them then stop

Weight hovers between 82.5 and 83.5.

2nd leg session for the week today.

Tuesday was heavy with low reps. Managed 6 x 120 PR best ever :nod: .

Today, high reps low weight. Allowed 1 rest per set, but pause when needed only. Went for full ROM.

Leg Press

Doing the 3rd set brought my feet together to focus on the outer quad and tweaked my back. Maybe it was the closed feet or just going too low for my dodgy back.

Don't think Monday is going to be much fun. :(

why the stan only on training days mate I thought it was an ed or eod supp??also is 30mg a small dose?

The guy who looks after my nutrition recommended only on training days. He's done me good so far and knows what's going in so I'm taking his advice. Dosage I believe varies between 30 and 50. If 30 doesn't show enough improvement in 3 weeks, I may go up for the following 4 weeks.

Feel a bit ripped of. 300 leg press reps and no DOMS. I certainly felt the lactic acid burning and they were pumped. Did keep the compression pants on for a few hours, perhaps that helped. Hammies are certainly sore.

have you set a date to be sitting @ 10% & 88kg ?

The way you're going you'll be there before me.

Not actual date really. Short term goal is around 10% for my trip to the Sunshine Coast in Jan. So a percent every month is a nice slow approach, should be easier to maintain doing so.

If I get there sooner then all the better. At the moment it seems more achievable than 88kgs.

Is this a long winny course ????

Plan has been to take stan just while tapering off the injectables over 4 weeks. It was mentioned taking it 3-4 weeks after that but not set in concrete.

Am going off it for a few days as something is giving my guts hell. I believe my guts is a bit sensitive to orals, perhaps should have gone for inj stan. May have been taking a dbol on the same day as stan.

This is good info, and perhaps why you've mentioned it.

Winstrol, like dianabol, should not be used for extended periods of time since it is a 17-alpha-alkylated substance. Using it for much longer than 4-6 weeks is not adviseable. Some athletes have been known to use it for eight weeks or even longer, but elevated liver values are a possibility if this is the case. For the sake of safety, such a long length of use is not recommended. 4-6 weeks will give the user good results and will add a boost to his or her steroid cycle, especially if stacked with a longer acting injectable ester. The reason for quick results with winstrol is due to its short active life and combined with a greater frequency of injection or oral consumption, results are fairly quick.

correct me if im wrong mate but havnt you been complaining of injuries an sore joints? maybe winstrol is a poor choice if you are already having problems with achey joints..

Can't recall a mass of injuries. Joints are fine. Only tweaked my back last Saturday and had that problem for 34 years on and off. One of the reasons I train is to help manage it.

Reckon that due to my back I'll never squat atg, and will have to limit leg press where shins go to horizontal. Anything lower brings my tail bone up and when the pressure goes on - the back plays up.

Just had a quick checkup at the doc's and the dodgy stomach is food related, not supps. Off to the bone cracker to get the back realigned. Back to normal tomorrow and some hard training.

Got her to check my BP and it came out at 118/86. Good result.

Had interesting conversations with her and the chick at the pharmacy on liver and milk thistle. Doc reckoned you wouldn't feel any liver issues immediately but later on when your liver had to recover from some problem - it might take a while longer than normal. Funnily she can never find any of my supps on her database - but then it's only Pharmac approved items on there. :pfft:

The pharmacist chick said she always takes milk thistle before going out on the piss and again when she gets home. Said it works.

Should really be twice the size I am now, ripped to bits :pfft: and on my way to the Olympia, but reckon I'll give it a miss this year.

Bit of a catch up.

Just finished a great weeks training on a new workout structure. Shoulders and lats have serious doms.

Previous 2 weeks I put my back out twice and had a dodgy stomach for 10 days. Topped off with work stress. Developed into a massive case of "can'tbefuckeditis". So took a few days off the gym and ate a bit of shitty food, and had a few bevvies. Gave myself till last Monday to HTFU and got over it.

So a great week was had. Tapering off the EQ, last 2 weeks on this and Stan. Strength has been good, can't see any drop off yet. Eating has been up, most of the days food goes by lunchtime so had to up that.

Cardio has been upped, 50 mins every morning, plus 50 mins mid week and now adding in 20-30 mins after each weights session.

Will take a few weeks off cycle then look for a short 4 weeker pre xmas. Then a couple months off before I look at it again.
