Calories all that matter?

Hey, I was wondering say you did 2 diets for a month each one consiting of

A- fatty foods, pastery, sweats, lollies, chocolates, fried foods, chips, fizzy drinks. etc

B-vegetables, fruits, nuts, meat, water. etc

And each day the ammount of calories from each diet A and B came to 2000. And then did this for say a month. Also say you burnt off 2000 calories per day.

Would your body look exactly the same with both diets? Or would with have say like a slightly fatter stomach or something?

Nope, calories aren't the only thing that matter..... the proportions of protein/carbs/ essential fats are critical.

Bottom line, the body's a well-developed system of components which can be fine-tuned by diet/ exercise/ timing etc.

Just like putting diesel in a petrol-powered car (hey, they both burn, right), or trying to roast a leg of lamb over a candle (would it just take longer to cook?)... you get very different results.
