It's 14 weeks from Sunday, 25 July 2010 to Sunday, 31 October 2010.

It means we don't start for a while, but I think that's the best end date. That way, we finish just after the Nationals shows for those competing, and just as the weather's getting warmer for those who want a good summer beach body. It also means we finish before the end-of-year mad rush kicks in.

Since we're running competitions on a continual basis now, we won't be doing a one-off challenge this year. Instead, there's an award for the best photo every month.

This means you can choose a deadline that suits you, and you've got 12 times more chances to win!

Sorry haven't been on here for ages - just starting a diet phase. How does the challenge work now?

I for one think this competition should come back.

Reasons:

It provides incentive to work harder because you are competing against people with the same deadlines.

People have to be honest (by having a newspaper in the picture)

The people that post full progress pictures are few and far between.

It is fun competing rather then just posting a picture of your progress.

It provides a yearly update to see where everyone is at all at the same time.

etc. etc.

Anyone else want this competition back?
