Not that I'll be doing this...

But I think there should be a best cut and best bulk prize. Previously the prizes seem to be going to the people who have shed lots of weight with the obvious aesthetic results. But that's only half the game in bodybuilding! Bulking in the timeframe may not produce the dramatic effect, but it should still be rewarded.

The RHODESTOWN award huh SS?

For those that don't know Rhodestown..... http://www.wannabebig.com/forums/showth ... RHODESTOWN

This Rhodestown got me pumped...

How many people would be interested in doing the NZBB Challenge this year?

The Challenge is an online competition we've run for the last few years to get people motivated about bodybuilding and improving their physique. The competitors have to post Before, Middle and After photos, and there are usually some pretty decent prizes at stake.

Previously the Challenge has lasted 20 weeks from start to finish, but I'm thinking about making it a bit shorter this year. We want to allow time for some dramatic changes in physique, but no time to slack off.

If you've got any thoughts/suggestions/feedback/expressions of interest - post 'em up!

Define "decent prizes"?? :)

Well, it's 14 weeks from 25 April to 31 October. Does that fit in with everyone's social, business, and recreational calendars? :D

If not, it may be tough.

Is it just me or is 25 april - 31 oct more than 14weeks? It starts tomorrow? Cool :D

how does it work? do you just take photos before the 12 weeks and after? the beginners will always have an advantage as they have the ability to make the most progress. unless a big bulker shreds up :D ohwell no harm in particapating

this could be boostings calling  too bad hes back on the bulk :pfft:

Ummm, if we're starting this tomorrow, then by my count, 14 weeks ends on July 31.

As above, what do we do? Just take a pic holding tomorrows paper? Sorry if the question seems a little inane, but I wasn't here for the last comp.

 And that's why guys shouldn't multi-task. Sorry, let me try again...

It's 14 weeks from Sunday, 25 July 2010 to Sunday, 31 October 2010.

It means we don't start for a while, but I think that's the best end date. That way, we finish just after the Nationals shows for those competing, and just as the weather's getting warmer for those who want a good summer beach body. It also means we finish before the end-of-year mad rush kicks in.

The alternative is to run a slightly longer competition, which would bring the start date closer.

EMC, take a look at the 2009 Challenge - it'll give you an idea of the format:

(And I just noticed that last year's prize pool was worth $800, not $600. I'm not doing very well here, am I?! )
