Test and Estrogen levels tested by doctors?

Hi guys,

I'm interested in finding out what my Testosterone and Estrogen levels are at. Will a doctor test for these if I ask them too? And any ideas on the cost if anyone has had this done?

I know in most countries they will run tests no problem, but i'm just wondering about NZ, since its such a closed minded country...

hey man,try your local medlab or path lab,you can get anything tested at a cost

you really need to ask a doctor about that sort of question. as far as i know, your average medlab should be able to test for it, but you might need to get GP consent first? not sure

Why would anyone want there levels tested (unless there were obvious problems) are you going to compare levels with guys at the gym or something. I can think of better ways to spend money.

Step one: Go to a GP.

Step two: Ask for blood tests.

Step three: Go to path lab and get tests.

Step four: Ring GP and get results.

Step five: Dont be a dickhead.

Of course, it helps if you already have a GP.... obviously, rocking up to a random GP plucked from the phone book and asking for some specific tests without a plausible reason might not get the results you want....
