Dunedin 10kg WPC-anyone keen?

I'm in Dunedin and could be interested. Heard the mixability is pretty terrible though. I read somewhere that someone put theirs through a seive and it mixed a lot better. Try it and let me know how it goes. If it works sweet I will look at buying the other half.

This is the review Pseu gave the isolate viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1532. I don't mind bland but when your swallowing big chunks of dry powder with your shake it's pretty nasty. My flatmate has a blender though so it should be sweet. I would have gotten WPI instead of the WPC for an extra 40 bucks? I'm going to check the 10k tub I have now which is pretty old, if it tastes off I will give you a txt and buy the other half. Chur

Sounds like the way to go :).

Incase your interested:

After hearing several people on this site talking about bulk protein, I decided to try some myself. I ordered a 20kg sack of Alacen 895 Instant whey protein isolate - ion exchange from Davis Trading. I was a bit nervious about ordering such a large amount, but that's all they sell. What if I didn't like it? I'd be stuck with a lifetime supply! I was nearly right on that count - I started eating this protein at the beginning of June, probably averaging 3 serves a day. I'm still going today... Nearly there now, though!

The 20kg cost me $468.56 all up, including freight and GST. That's just over $20 a kilo - can't complain about that!

People saying it doesnt mix?

I have bought 3 20kg sacks so far over the past couple years, it is the best mixing protein I have used so far,

It also seems to be digested the best, my gym partners have protein ADD and have tried everything under the sun and have told me they found the fontera protein to be one of the best on the guts, the flavour isn't even bad, it tastes better than the quad max or whatever shit my mate bought the other day was

yea it mixes really well, i have the isolate at the mo ($450 20kg of trade me!!!) and that mixes even better, and it is very good on the gut, i just don't get people i speak to at the gym that think its shit, and needs to be filtered more, but look at the back of the bag. per 100

OH AND HAVE A LOOK AT THIS, fontera isn't at the leading edge of protein research for no reason.....

Good things do come out of Palmerston north after all !!
