I have seen a letter sent by one of the exec committee members (moes committee) supporting moe and he suggests no committee is needed and that it should be run by one man.. Moe. .

Wow so you have seen a confidential letter sent by an exec committee member to the IFBB President?!

That speaks volumes for what is going on here.

One man shouldnt run a sport? Doesnt Jim Manion run your Pro division?

It sounds like this whole thing is getting really messy and no one is playing by the rules and havnt been for a very long time....I think all of this is very sad....The only thing I think we can agree on is that we all want an organisation that puts the atheletes first....Problem is no one seems to be able to agree on how that can be accomplished. Its really a shame that it has come to this when we all want the same thing  :( Its only made worse by petty arguements and loosing site of the goal, and twisting or breaking the rules, to suit , like leaking of confidential letters and personal details...does that mean that all letters of support or complaint will be released with the peoples personal details to all the persons involved ? I guess so in the interest of fairness.. Do all the letter writers know this?

They should have been notified prior to putting there names to letters, they should be told now. Lets hope we will all have a clearer image of where the sport is going in NZ soon and lets hope there are changes where changes are needed. I think we are all genuine in our desire to see a better organisation for the sport in NZ.

glad you are on here and seeing the general feeling about how you have screwed things up bbgotback, kiwis will not accept that treatment. Hope something positive comes out of the meeting today.

Hey Slapper you have got it wrong bbgotback hasnt screwed anything up she is only an athlete and voluntare doing her best in our sport.

She has donated 15 years to this sport and thats not just as a competitor. She has worked for free at countless shows over those years and had a period of time on the committee in the past. Not to mention that she has by herself put our sport in the media numerous times with positive TV & magazine articles.

I think before you have a dig like that at someone you are well aware of your facts and the work they do for others.

If your upset with someone else then keep it to that.

i might have assumed bbgotback was Moe so my mistake.

it amazes me though how anyone could see any good that he has done

for the sport in NZ since being president, unless of course you were on the receiving end of a free trip or procard lolly scramble.

Correct me if I'm wrong (but I'm not :pfft: ) BUT the NZFBB was looking after athletes and running very good shows prior to the current administration taking over.

I could easily put money on the fact that NZFBB will become the poor hated cousin to the other feds by the end of this year if the current admin head is not gone soon. No athlete in their wright mind will compete knowing what's going on behind the scenes and at any show organized by Moe after the last few he has organized.

Sad but true.

Sorry Weener lad but there has been many instances over the 15 yrs that I have been involved with the NZFBB where atheletes were not looked after and shows were not run very well,,,, all long before Moe showed up,really what is going on is nothing new just different players.......There always seems to be some drama going on, people complaining, and arguing dividing the bodybuilding community. Some would say its the nature of the sport, I think its sad.

FYI :naughty:

I have not ever been on the recieving end of a Lollie scramble as you put it.

You are correct to a degree! Over the years there has been alot of this power struggle stuff going on, but since 2006 NZFBB starting heading in a good direction and things were looking up. All he had to do was let it keep running itself and things would still be fine.

As far as your last comment goes I think you need to read my posts! No mention of lolly scramble by me :naughty:

Id say its a job well done Terry, The websites has all the info you need to know about NZFBB.

Unfortunately though after reading this blog, If i was looking a sponsoring a event/organization or even joining/competing i would be thinking twice about it. I don't agree with the comment "we all want the same thing". If this was true why would you be trying to discourage people from using this website.

Isn't the idea of a website to share info and inform both possible competitors and spectators?

Why would you go watch or compete in something when there is so much negativity just in the website

Why does the website still say the South Island Champs are on 4th September when Mike has advised on this site they are on 25th September?

In fact it has them on 11th September but at the top advises a date change to 4th September.

I am trying to get the website changed unfortunatly i have no control over the website, and there seems to be some "tech issues" but it is definatly the 25th.
