New NZFBB website

A new NZFBB website has been set up - http://www.nzfbb.co.nz. This is likely to remain the permanent new site for the NZFBB, depending on if and when the outgoing Executive release the access codes for the http://www.nzfbb.org.nz site.

Check the new site now for information on the upcoming special meeting being held this Friday (April 9th) from 12pm at the Quality Inn Hotel, 465 Great North Road, Grey Lynn to appoint a caretaker Executive.

It is much better, last one was a complete mess, who was responsible for maintaining the last NZFBB site? That would be the person who had the access codes as well....who was responsible? anybody know? :?

Thanks, ds - yes, the "new" look of the site is much better than it was .. but that old format was last used approx 18 months ago. Some of you obviously haven't visited the nzfbb.org.nz site for a while - if you have a good look now you will see that both sites are virtually identical, other than some tidying up on the new site to reflect the latest situation.

I took over the new look nzfbb.org.nz site as administrator in Feb last year. My (unpaid) role is merely to ensure that relevant and important information is posted there promptly and correctly - something I feel I've done well .. including the building of results and photo tables for previous years (Results & Photos page).

Sure, the site does not have all the "bells & whistles" of other bodybuilding sites with forums, profiles etc, but like the NABBA site it has the information that the members need.

There is always scope to improve things - but that also depends on appropriate people getting me the right information to post on the site (e.g. event information, poster images, forms etc).

Approx two weeks ago the nzfbb.org.nz site database/file server password was changed by someone, meaning I was unable to add files to the site. Due to the security of the site being compromised, a decision was made to create the nzfbb.co.nz using a copy of the old site.

Yes thats what I meant definately looking better than the old NZFBB of years ago - in fact I think I stopped even bothering to look on there hence why I didnt realise you had been updating since Feb last.... :doh:

A O problem here big time at the bottom of the nzfbb.org.nz website it has a copyright sign to nzfbb.org.nz how on earth did nzfbb.co.nz take a copy of the same website. My goodness scary stuff i thought the meeting was only on Friday ooooppppssss someone is running before they can walk.

this may be true, but what of it? the interim fed management are the ones who have seen fit to create the new site, which was necessary because the then president hadnt/wouldnt release the info back.

so are you insinuating that the old president will have a problem with there being a new site? i dont understand what you are trying to acheive with these negative posts??
