Went and checked out this gym today and was very impressed. Alot of exellent equipment,lots of good hammer strength gear including pieces I havent seen in NZ before. I think a few gyms in west auckland will be losing some of thier clientele to this gym in the next year as they have only been open a couple of weeks and allready have over 150 members.

Many thanks to Wolf (mike) and his wife Paula for thier hospitality and taking time out to chat with me despite them both being extremely busy.

Are you considering a shift in geography? .... if so I may also consider a change of scenery if its as good as you say :)

Lol. No mate, not this point in time anyway. But I definately will have a few casuals there. We will have to have a workout there together sometime, or even at Te Atatu C.P.

Yep, and it's still the word. However, I'm okay with Wolf mentioning he runs a gym when he's introducing himself here, and the pricing was in response to a direct question. If it turns into an ongoing advertising campaign (a la Nick Smith) then we'll relook at the situation. But he's got a long way to go to catch Nick. :grin:

I have recently joined up at Wolf's Gym. With all due respect to my previous gym, I have now found the 'umph' that was lacking to push me further with my training to take me to the next level! Wolf gets stuck right in there with anyone that trains at the lair, freely offering support, training guidance and advice...on anything!

Great set up, awesome atmosphere. Loving it!

Except for when he comes in to train, and that's when I am humbled and have to cover up - LOL! :pfft:

I had train at Wolfs gym when I was in Aucks for the the long weekend .I was very impressed with and the set up in wolfs gym I thought very nice up.When I was talking to Wolf.Wolf was telling 300 people have joined up in 12 weeks that's with out any advertising and I got a free train while I was 8) .If any of guys have not had a train at Wolfs it is worth the trip out to Henderson plus it remind of Golds Gym

I can take some pics tomorrow. I loved the atmosphere of the gym from the first time I walked in there.. The equipment is amazing with a further 12 pieces arriving around the end of the month.... And the past comments are correct - Mike + Paula (Wolf + Wife) personally take an interest in anybody and everybody in the gym, newbies or advanced trainers.... It is definately worth a drive out to Henderson..

Hi Pseudonym - Yes I am working there now and loving it. Its the kind of gym which suits me perfectly, no gimmicks etc - what you see is what you get only better, cos what you get is personal service and top equipment.. My clients followed me plus I gained former clients back which was awesome bonus for me. You should come and train there one day. Just talking to the humble wolf himself is motivating enough.

can't really blam them can you andrew? won't be long until you ship over aswell I guess.

Haha, well, as it happens, I've just joined Harbour Fitness. I've still got my Club Physical membership though - for now.

Went to train at wolfs gym today. Awesome gym! awesome music, awesome set up, awesome equiptment and wolfs a pretty good guy too! cheers wolf, it was good talking to ya! (im the guy who came in with andrew this morning if you didnt figure it out.) if only i lived closer! i will be back to check it out once the rest of the equiptment arrives. im thinking i might even be visiting once a week for a real training session!
