To all NZFBB people HELP

Im utterly amazed that someone like Moe can be such an arrogant turdbucket, the total disregard and lack of respect for people should never have been tolerated. He sounded like an irresponsible git before he became President so lets get him the phuk owt already. :evil:

I use to be friends with Moe up untill what happend the pro/am show on the 20th of March in Auckland plus making thinghs go down the loo for the NZFBB.Moe Mugabe that dose have a very nice ring to it.I have also thought of good job for Moe which to be the president of some war toran country.

This thread is really a shame and sad to read as there is proper channels and correct ways of dealing with this type of stuff, the accusations and comments been passed on here are certainly not ones to take be taken lightly i just hope if this goes further you can all back yourselves up. It sounds like Mark has opened himself a can of worms here as to his past and maybe a can that he should of kept a lid on as now I would like to know why he was removed from the Fed and as a member I will dig deeper to get this bought to the table as if he is thinking about standing again we need to know what his past and recent past has to offer. I am really disappointed at our two pro's comments on here aswell i am sorry but i held them very high as i do any pro in any sport but you have let yourselves down big time, some of your comments are very very strong i just hope that you have both thought this through carefully and that the whole truth and nothing but the truth has been told, as we all no there is always to sides to a story.

Becks if haven't notice my post where I said when I was invited to the NZFBB agm meeting on my last trip to Auckland which was was in July of last year before the meeting Moe told me who I had to vote.When I have every right to vote to for who I want instead of being told vote for which is very unprofessional and I wrote on Mike Debenham wall on Facebook this morning before I went to the gym and trained that Mike Debenham and Mark Stewart have my full support to bring the NZFBB back to normal

I'm not sure where in the opening post Mark says he is wanting to run for president again?> As far as I am aware Mark has opted to continue on as a judge and support to the federation. And why wouldn't he given the amount of time he has spent doing it. Rightly or wrongly he still has knowledge that can add value to a NEW president - and leadership panel.

Some could read into that I suppose ... but I got the impression he wasn't promoting himself.

Perhaps Mark could clarify the statement - I got the impression that Mike D is keen to put himself out there for one - He defeinately has a lot of credibilty ... I don't see many people challenging Mike up front.

In any case - it would seem until an intervention of somekind occurs that much of this speculation is in vein. I agree with you becks - I too think this could have been handled differently as it further errodes the credibility of the NZFBB as a whole - but at the same time I can also relate to the fact that there are a lot of unanswered claims and allegations which based on some counts seem kind of plausable.

This can either be a major tragedy or become a defining moment. Either way the NZFBB will be change hense forth. On a positive note, I guess this thread wouldnt be so controversial if collectively we all didn't care so much.

whilst i do understand the value of using "proper channels", in a situation where there are obviously rules (moral an transparency) that are being either broken or ignored.

If the current president doesnt approve of this being aired on nzbb,(ie, not the proper channels) might be a little ironic considering how 'loosely' hes been interpreting his responsibilities and abilities as prez!

TRANSPARENCY and MORALS is what any prez needs to display. ask yourselves whether the current prez fits this...

Sorry Gym Rat my reply was to your post where you said you were his friend until the 20th March as i did not read in the AGM post that you stated at that stage were no longer his friend. And you hit it on the head you can vote for who ever you want to and at that time you wanted to vote in Moe. I am sure you are big enough to make that discission and you did. I have no issues about who runs for Pres my concern is to be honest how honest are these people been Optimass. As i said there is always two sides to a story and i am truly interested to hear the otherside. We maybe shocked.

You are completely missing the point here Becks.

Mark Stewarts previous history, both professional or personal, is not the matter on hand here. The immediate issue, the one we as a bodybuilding community are trying to resolve, is the current state of the NZFBB under the leadership of Moe.

Put simply, it doesn't matter what past presidents or executives have done it doesnt excuse Moe's unprofessional conduct as the current president.

Also, Mark hasn't posted on this thread so don't know who your post is directed at. His email was posted by another member of this forum.

I don't mean to come across as missing the point Samoan Muscle all i am trying to say is that the harsh accusations that have been put up are just that very harsh. All i hope is that these can be backed up as it is easy to jump on a forum and slander people but to this extent is serious. I am not saying anyone is right or wrong just hope it is fact.

Hi Becks. if you look at my post that is a copy of the letter i sent to Paul and Carole in Australia, there is no accusations. Everything is factual. if this is the correct forum to express and try and gain support is a valid concern of yours. However with no access to any NZFBB records (as everything is on Moes Personal Computer) there is no other way to convay our concerns to many of the NZFBB members. Of course unless you have another suggestion. Today i have had 3 athletes from 2009 events that are still owed travel grants (not including the ones from the south Islands) contact me directly just from the activity on this forum.

Guys, this is an important topic, but we need to set some boundaries.

This is only about the actions of Moe as they relate to his Presidency role. It is not for any other personal accusations.

The same goes for Mark. There is no place for personal vendettas here. If Mark looks likely to regain the Presidency (even as an interim President) then certainly a full background check would be appropriate - as it would with any Presidential hopeful. But that's another topic.

In this topic, keep the discussion focused on Moe's Presidency, please.

Becks everything that has been commented on here is factual

as far as the promise of funding for athletes getting paid to attend the nats i was promised $200 to travel to the nats from wellington.

i hit up brian mcfarlane twice in the morning and was told only moe can pay the athletes.

I ended up talking to Terry Hills who i know very well as he was in charge backstage and he paid me from the door takings he was in charge of.

i know of others who still havent been paid and have been told moe is the only one who can authorise cheques but is always out of the country.

theres far more things that can be commented on financially here happening right now involving people he is not paying in other aspects of business but it would be better coming from them.

im not a top level competitor and do it for the enjoyment but il never attend a nzfbb nats again while moe is in charge.

it was the worst run and most unorganised show ive ever seen.

and its supposed to be the highlight of the year for the competitors and their families and supporters.

Becks everything that was pointed out about timings etc is true.

If the athletes can all attend morning briefings and be ready for the evening show on time then it should be expected the organiser can at least be courteous and turn up on time and not make everyone wait over an hour both times.
