Re funding to nationals.

I have been personaly contacted by 4 athletes yesterday that still have not received funding from 2009.

This includes The NZ overall Figure Champion Vicky Cartell, and the NZ masters Champion Deb Stewart (no relation to mark or jo).

These two lovely ladies are two of the nicest women you will meet and have been long time supporters of the NZFBB, are regional champions and now our national champions that have not recived promised funds BUT more importantly the decency of any communication from the Current executive. withholding money is one thing but even more the disrespect of not acknowledging two of our National Champions.

Just another example.

One female bodyfitness competitor was given the all clear for funding to the Arnold. $1000.00 compared to the $2,000.00 the other two girls were granted. The president has since told her it was not authorised by the executives despite her having a phone recorded message stating that it had been cleared.

Why was their a difference in the amount of funding for the other two athletes? and why was she not paid up front like the other. I can tell you why. She is my client. That says it all.

why is it only corruption when someone else is doing it?

man what the hell has happened to NZ bodybuilding? I used to love coming home to NZ and doing shows, people were always awesome and the shows were always fun to be part of.

Kudos to Joe Ullberg, my favourite bb of all time in NZ.. did it used to be simpler way back when or what? Every president has had issues but bullying competitors and not even allowing people to do their routines at shows!! What the hell?

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Dear Mark,

This email is to authorize you to immediately form an acting committee to try to correct the disastrous problems currently occurring in New Zealand under the leadership of Moe El Moussawi.

This committee will be expected to place confidence in the IFBB affiliate, the NZFBB.

You must do this immediately to stop the unrest that is occurring until democratic elections can be held.

These elections should be as soon as possible for a transparent transfer.

You should notify the current Vice President Terry Hills of our plans as Moe El Mousawwi is not taking call nor is he returning calls.

Terry should table this notification for the benefit of Moe’s committee.

We have notified Jim Manion of our decision via our Professional IFBB Pro director Tony Doherty. Jim Manion has no objection with what we are doing and he supports us and our actions 100%. Jim has stated that he has never given permission to Moe to use his name in the manner which Moe has been doing.

Copies of the masses of emails of complaints about Moe El Moussawi that we have received will be forwarded to Pamela Kagan to record for the IFBB Pro League.

Copies of these emails, as well as this mandate to you, will also be sent to Bill Tierney IFBB General Secretary, Wanda Tierney IFBB Women’s Committee and Rafael Santonja IFBB President.

We have every confidence in you and your NZFBB members and officials to handle this matter appropriately and to rebuild the federation for our wonderful sport that we all love.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Graham

IFBB Vice President South Pacific/Oceania

IFBB Executive Council Member

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Hi Everyone,

Before I go any further, I would like to sincerely thank from the bottom of my heart to our Leader & IFBB Vice President Paul Graham & his lovely wife Carole for their faith , believing & trust in us that we had no option but to remove Moe from office so our Members can finally enjoy belonging & competing with NZFBB/IFBB & knowing once again that they will be treated with fairness.

I must not forget you all as I stated before, I can do this but I cannot do it alone. You must now give yourself pat on the back because you all being fantastic with coming forward.

As Paul Graham said the Emails with complaints about Moe are still flooding in & sometimes jammed his computer.

I will now call for a meeting with Mike Debenham, Terry Hills, Darryl & Kaye O’Neill for Friday 9th April at 12.00pm at the Quality Inn Hotel. 465 Great South Rd, Grey Lynn.

Please if anyone else who wants to come along are welcome to do so.

This meeting is not a voting meeting but pure to discuss 2010 NZFBB/IFBB Event Calendar and set the AGM to elect people to run the Federation but for now we are just Caretakers/Subcommittee.

We will be looking at 4 Regional plus the NZ Nationals. That will be all the Events will be looking at for 2010.

Take care,

Mark St

FYI

Due to the current situation The NZFBB web site has been disable by Moe.

this web site which is owned by the NZFBB has had its passwords and ownership transferred by Moe into his own name hence we have no control over the nzfbb.org.nz web site. We will have a new NZFBB web site up very shortly and i will forward this information to the NZBB very soon!!

Regards Mike Debenham

Thats fantastic news!

I was beginning to worry, Ive been out of action for a few years while I had children and I am returning to the stage in June and with all the problems ive heard about the shows I was wondering if it was all worth it.

I'm glad that I will be returning to the Federation I knew (or at least a federation rebuilding itself to the one I knew)

Well it seems to have taken an interesting turn. Hopefully for the better! There has always been lots of crap politics in NZFBB but hopefully something positive will come out of this latest movement.

Just goes to show ya, nz bodybuilders don't let themselves get bullied for long!

Of course let's hope some of the people who have seemingly been pushed forward by the current NZFBB to receive pro cards are not further abused for actions taken that were out of their control.

I am sure we all know of a lot of things we see as being "peculiar" in judging and results and things not quite seeming to follow the rules and guidelines of the IFBB. Many of which occurred before the current president. So I guess keeping that in mind we should be able to make something better out of the current chaos.

Hey Harry. The way i see it the past is the past and cant be changed. MY PERSONAL VIEW is that some of these people that you have mentioned that have their Pro Card, should not be effected, regardless if i or anyone else thinks they should have it or not. and they should still receive the support and respect of the NZFBB. i for one would vote against the removal of any athletes Card (i don't even know if we could anyways) that has been awarded.

I agree, the past should be the past and we just need to look forward to the future and help the interim committee to rebuild the federation to one where all athletes feel respected.

It would be great if the shows could start on time too.

Must be fairly awkward for Terry at the moment...running and managing Moes shop.

I`m sure he`s just riding this one out with good reason at the moment to remain silent.

You`ve got our support Terry though.
