Cutting Cycles

Im looking a doing a cutting cycle later in the year but keen of course to get the info and research underway now.

I know of course diet and cardio are your best tools and that will be my primary consideration.

Im currently coming towards the end of a 1st Test E cycle where i ran 300mg a week with no major side effects and good gains in both strength and size. At the end of this I will run my PCT and spend some time recovering and ensuring i hold onto what I have gained so far.

What would be a good cycle for someone of my small AAS history? Would running a low dose of Test + something like Winstrol be a good idea? Using the test to hold onto muscle + winstrol for helping fat loss?

I wouldn't recommend a cutting cycle until you posted up you stats: weight/height/bf % and your proposed "cutting" diet. Just cause you've done 1 cycle mate don't think more/alternate types of gear is the answer to cutting up (i think you know this though so). If i was PTing you as a client i'd have you running no gear for the next 6-9 months and really getting you strict on your diet. Sure...i could recommend a cutting cycle easy and others would to but i'd cut on diet until next year then go bigger in a bulking cycle

Typically gear that is used in a cut or pre contest cycle like Trenbolone,Clenbuterol,Winstrol,Proviron, Masteron,halotestin etc are primarily used to hold muscle mass in place while in a calorie deficient diet. The gear as such will not cut you down in itself. You need to have strict control over your diet & training regimes. As well a lot are ineffective unless your body fat levels are already below 12%.

Yup Im well aware that my diet needs to be spot on and Im not looking at even considering until I have had atleast 6months off the gear anyway. I wouldnt be looking to start this until I was around 10% and would get down to 10% naturally before I looked at a cycle.

My main consideration for doing a cutting cycle is to get from 10% down to show condition 4-5% etc without losing too much muscle.

Im currently 90kg at around 16-17%, 173cm.

You've asked a common genuine question which we all see a lot of on the muscle boards - so no problem in giving you some guidance here.

Theres general cutting cycles and then theres show preparation cycles.

Both will be different (dosage/timings/combinations) although there will be a lot of cross over with type of stuff used.

Musclenz has offered a good array of solutions which should all be used at some stage in getting down into the lower single figure bf%'s

As a general cutting cycle - i would run test prop, tren ace, and winny.

Then when you get well into single figures, you can throw some other stuff in the mix.
