Its not worth the trouble. If you were to get caught doing this you would be in trouble with the law (obvious) but you could also end up in some shit with gangs/dealers/hitters people you dont want problems with!

You have to go through so many people before you can safely do something like that and even when you do your still not very safe! :lol:

I doubt gangs would want Ma Huang as the process to strip the low levels of ephedra & then convert to ephedrine would make it unfeasible, and just from the media it appears there is boatloads of pseudoephedrine coming from China everyday.

However the Police might be more interested in your import. It could probably be held that this could be a pre-cursor to meth, unlikely but possible.

As Outcast said not worth the trouble you could find yourself in.

You should also get 3 pounds of heroin and cocaine make it worth your while cos you will be going to prison for the ephadrine, but you might get all of it in and make some money....... :shock:

The herb Ma Haung (ephedra) started getting seized by customs on me about 6 or more years ago. I used it for fat loss and found it better than Ephedrine HCL at the time. Like the USA it was banned for it's "stimulant" properties but also and unbeknown at the time, it could be used for the manufacture of crystal meth (albeit through a more complex pathway). This wasn't the reason it was banned though.

You could try and import it as the most i think will happen is it would get confiscated by customs and you'll get a slap on the hand letter.
