Never been in myself, but I know a guy that lifts there and he seems to like it. Don't know much about it otherwise.

I've trained there. Set up was good (although not a lot of room between equipment), everything you'd need though.

Only real downside was the music! Think bad house music at twice the volume needed!

Good gear, good staff, friendly folk there though. Worth a shot.

hhmm must be worth taking a sneaky look. lesmills is a good gym, but bts is closer to home. gillies is even closer (5mins), but i get the feeling gillies isnt a place for beginners. may have a sneaky look there too.

Hell you oughta come have a look at Netfit. It's right off Great South Road, just a bit down from Greenlane. You'd like it, the place has all the goods and rarely has more than a few people in there at once.
