Phil Heath is looking awesome 10lbs heavier than the Olympia  Dexter is razor as usual.

Kai seemed unimpressive - looks like hes holding water - looking forward to seeing his routine.

Kai, Phil, Branch, Dexter 1,2,3,4...Be interesting to see the comparisons :D

Iris cleaned up the "Ladies" again :P

none of them are equally conditioned to heath, however he has an inferior shoulder width. he cant compete with the bigger guys, unless theyre out of condition, which many of them are so it will be close..

Inferior shoulder width is irrelevant. These two are used as purely examples.

The judging is crap! Branch Warren 3rd? Please!! If I wanted to look at a fridge I would've gone to the nearest Harvey Normans!!. Again inconsistencies with the judging!!

it also depends on a judges ideal physique. theyve favoured kai's and dexter's multiple times. two different, well rounded, in-proportion physiques. if theyre condition is slightly off they may still favour them, regardless. thats just how it goes sometimes.

Interesting ... I should have taken a look at the comparisons as seeing them side by side must have shown more in kais favor. I so had Phil Heath at number one (and I'm not even a big fan) :?

Hi Ann hope you don't mind the merge - your input certainly relavent. :)

The Judging - its crap.

Kai Greene first and Phil Heath second - WTF - plus many other shows that I have attended where the judging is more than questionable!!

At that level American Shows are all questionable. Its about who your sponsor is, who you work for & how big your pockets are, I suspect.

We look forward to some fair dinkum judging from you & the team in 8 weeks at the CHC Grand Prix

I've just briefly chatted with Perry - Sara Picken Brown's partner - she has placed 6th. I had her in an easy top three - but the judges (american) have decided to go with soft glutes etc..... damn it. I'd love to see Sara in Nabba Australia - she looks great harder - just gorgeous. Presents beautifully, fabulous poser - the girl has got it all.

Why doesn't bodybuilding show the judges individual scores? Other subjectively-judged sports (diving, dancing, gymnastics, etc) show each judge's scores, don't they? That would go a long way to making judges accountable and dispelling rumours of corruption.

It would also make the show more interesting (and more suspenseful) if you could see the scores coming in one by one. Would you rather see a rugby game where *ding* someone announces the All Blacks have won, or a game where you actually see them battle it out to win?

Perhaps one of our local bodybuilding organisations could lead the way.

Good idea Pseudo. Could be like Boxing. I will chat to the head judge.

Hey, while you're at it, here's my other pet peeve:

The posing routine should contribute to the athlete's points. It's the only way to encourage decent routines, and it seems silly that it's a mandatory part of the competition, but it doesn't affect the placings.
