Back in the day it was Macs gold but i havent touched a drop of alcohol in over a year.

i rarely drink either. if i do its carona or sol, only if the caronas are all out

I don't mind drinking a Corona with lime, but to me, it's some other drink, not really a beer... IMHO.

My favourites are dark beers, I like Guinness, Youngs and Belhaven. Speights Old Dark is pretty good if spiced up with a shot of Whiskey.

If I was only allowed to drink one beer, I'd pick Speights Gold Medal. It's hard to look past.

+1 for don't drink anymore. When I did though beers of choice was usually whatever was cheapest, DoBros or Tassy bitter. But I'd prefer a 40oz of bostock and a few ice cubes.

Yeap Tiger is pretty much all they serve in Indian restaurants, don't hate it though. Its such a shame beer inhibits getting big. Both are important for your social life (food for thought) - I just can't bring myself to give it up... I suppose drugs are a reasonably viable option.

Pure Blonde is my staple these days, but I agree with Jigga on Peroni if I'm not worried about the carbs.

Sapporo and Asahi are good Japanese beers, used to be into Brahma (from Brazil) but after drinking it for a while I begun to dislike it unfortunately.

Tuatara Pilsner is another one high on my list, and Tuatara Hefe is pretty damned nice too.

Beerstore.co.nz is a good store for those of you who are keen in different beers. They have a very good range.

Anything sweet and malty. Dark, but not too dark. Sadly, most people seem to drink pale lagers, and most pale lagers taste like weak piss.

Thanks for that link Drizzt. My flatmate's been looking for the Aotearoa beers for a while. He'll be in heaven now.

Oooh forgot about those! Got a couple of Mata Artesian and Mata Manuka on my last order from there. Manuka was a bit sweet for me, but the Artesian was bloody nice.
