fresh salmon is amazing, but as you said it's a bit expensive so i have to resort to eating tinned salmon most of the time.

about the nutritional content- most processed food will lacking in some way or another when compared to its fresh counterpart

I'd opt for a no added salt option if available. 468mg of sodium per 100g is very high. Pays to check this as it also varies greatly between different brands of tuna. Some are over 400mg, some others are as low as 130mg.

indeed. i find that some brands such as john west offer a "no salt added" option. if i can't find low salt brands i just drain the salmon with a sieve, seems to get rid of a bit of the salt

I would be really interested if any of u can say the difference, one biggest drawbacK i HAVE LEARNED IS SALt CONCENTRATION, IS THERE ANYMORE TO WORRY ABOUT?

one of my friend heard from his professor about heaps of other drawbacks especially if it is canned in overseas like thailand, do u guys have any opinions regarding this subject?
