i have been doing weight training for the last 2 years or so and started taking supplements during last year , not sure the exact number but roughly took 3-4 3kg boxes of protein , 2 glutemine and 2 creatine and 1 balance BCC , from november i started getting pain in groin area and i was very much worried about it doctors did all their tests. hernia etc etc and could not find anything wrong on the back of my mind i was thinking it may be because of the supplements i have taken , the pain is getting better with time. but at times i get very nervous and the root of the problem is my belhive that may be the supplements are doing something bad in my body. e.g. i was bit dizzy yesterday and i started feeling that my kidneys are failing, i thought posting my feelings on the forum and get advise from the experts , I havent done any training since november and bit low at the momment

I'm not convinced you should be seeking medical advice from a BB forum.

I am going to assume you are a male and therefore suggest you might not have a iron deficiency. Do you still take the supp's you say you were taking? Why do you believe the supps are/were causing pain in your groin? Why should you believe it is the supps that are the root of you problems? Why should you be nervous? Could the symptoms you experience be part of your genetic make up or because of another part of your lifestyle? Feelings are one thing and what is actually going on is another.

Like many others on this forum I have ingested many more supps than those you list with no or few detrimental side effects. Albeit, you don't specify over what period of time you ingested these supps.

I suggest you seek advice from another General Practitioner or specialist. This might seem rough but having experience in mental health I even suggest that the way your post is written shows symptoms of you being psychosomatic.

And, worst case scenario, I hope you have no lumps around or close to your testes. If so see a GP asap.

no lumps or bumps they even did the scan. while i was going through all this i read somewhere on the net that taking creatine can stop body's ability to make creatine and because of kidney problem the pain can go to groin. thats why i started thinking that way, i never took any supplements in my life and started last year only (After reading on the forums) thats why posted here to see if they really cause side effects or just me getting too nervous

I'd think after ending your creatine use your body should recover to normal function.

How much protein were you supplementing? I imagine that after a year's worth of training you aren't that big. I wouldn't recommend more than 2g/kg protein/day for someone starting bodybuilding. Also, what was your creatine does? Did you load, maintain and then break or just continue use?

But have you looked at other parts of your lifestyle. Do you drink much alcohol, coffee? I'd stick to water if you have had kidney problems and cut out any large amount of whey from your diet and look at getting protein from meat of any form.

Regardless I would still go and see another GP. But phone ahead and make sure who you will be seeing knows something about whey and creatine use. Many GP's really don't know shit about any form of normal BB supps. They are trained to look after the normal punter with a normal diet.

If your doctor didn't help you satisfactorily, find a new one. Plenty of health problems are either not diagnosed or mis-diagnosed. Just because your doctor didn't find anything doesn't mean they haven't missed something. I think getting a second opinion is your best option.

Basic blood tests generally include iron count. And dizziness is a symptom of just about anything, from low potassium to gallbladder problems.
