Give me a routine to achieve my ideal body type!

I dont mean to sound like a jerk but if you can move your arm around you should take a big shot of htfu. If it hurts doing dips then just dont do them. Sub thm for another tricep exercise.

Yeah you do sound like a jerk. I'm just being cautious. It was honestly a quick sharp pain that came with a click/snap sound. It's not being unable to tricep dips that concern me, but develop some sort of long term injury that would hinder my shooting. It would also other exercises that requires lifting (deadlifts etc)

Woke up this morning, some tenderness in that area when I go to lift my arm, but I think I might be okay.

Hey gymsta

I wasnt trying to be a hide behind my computer screen guy, just merely presenting the fact that intense weight training is bound to f*ck you up in some way shape or form

yup agreed. and that's something you need to consider before you start bodybuilding

Um. Not sure I agree with that. Yes, you want to push it to the limits, but the whole point of training properly is NOT to injure yourself. If you're experiencing pain (other than the good kind of pain, obviously) then there's probably something wrong.

In this case, it may just be a slight muscle tweak. Make sure your head is in a neutral, relaxed position. It's easy to get into the bad habit of pulling it forward or back when you start going heavy on certain exercises.

Im reminded of OBs signature in this situation
There are guys in wheel chairs that would give their lives to squat to get sore hips. There are guys with no arms that would love to be able to bench and get tendonitis. So shut th F**K up and lift.

Good call. A man in a wheelchair asked me to help push him up the other side of the road today. The slight incline and rubber knobbly stuff they put down is apparently difficult for people in wheelchairs to get up after crossing the street and the little green cross-now man doesn't stick round for long. I shoud have asked him what he'd give to be able to squat.
