I found plastic ones with a screw-on lid (rather than a snap-on) in Moore Wilsons (can't remember the brand-name, it's long since washed off) - the screw-thread also prevents shake-explosions :grin:

I like my Tupperware ones, but I saw one in woolies that looked exactly the same for virtually nothing, so I reckon that'd do the trick just as well.

I haven't had any problems like that with my genuine Tupperware - as long as I remember to close it that is But I don't have any problems with it catching or anything once it's closed - it's closed for good.

Just find something with a screw on lid. Even a jar or a used drink bottle with a wide top is fine. Doesn't have to be a $10 piece of plactic with muscle written on the side.

pretty sure they all do the job.

and theyr only around $10 MAX to buy...not that much of a risk to purchase one. lol.

It won't grind them but it will stir them. It mixes my creatine and superpump great, I stick already blended shakes with bananas, oats etc into it and take it to work and then re-blend it there with it.

It's more a stirring motion not blending there's no blades on it.

I got one of those vortex's for christmas, never used it. It's sitting with my other 10+ shakers. Maybe I should give it a whirl.

Heh. Once my screw-top-lid non-shaker-shaker went awol so I used a metal cocktail shaker. Something I added to the mix musta got a bit excited in there and even holding both bottom and lid the shaker just burst open like a case of evil explosive diarrhoea and fucken sticky as whey went everywhere. Never again :pfft:

Found horleys snap on the best, just make sure you put the lid on. Hate the screw on ones.
