Neralee, the person I have heard heaps about. So you definately going down to Christchurch to compete? Are you looking at going to the worlds in Malta? We have a group of us coming down to watch that show as there has been talk of you competing. People very excited about this show, is going to be great!

This show is starting to pick up momentum all throughout the country and further. Its a pleasure that we here in Hawkes Bay have been given the chance to be apart of it all. To all those who visit this forum, support these guys in Christchurch, as well as those who have brought this show to fruition. Afterall, they are the ones who have had to put up with the backlash, and bare the brunt of it all. If it wasn't for them we would not be here now. :clap:

I never knew this forum existed until a friend from down south said all the up to date bodybuilding stuff is on here, so here I am introducing myself as a newbie You Christchurch guys and girls are awesome for orgainising this show and going over and above :clap: I personally think it is fantastic, so well done! We have some top people organising it and it will be awesome and well run.

Unable to give you a definate answer on athlete funding. We would like to think that there will be some support & that NZ competitors will be able to join in with the Australian team members to Malta or Greece.

Details have not yet been finalised with regard to ticketing & prices but we will be making it as affordable as possible. Keep you posted on this matter.

"NABBA Figure Class 2 was one of the highlights of the day and featured the ‘Giant Killer’ herself, Ms Anna Hetzel. Anna has taken all before her over the past twelve months and today was yet another victory to add to her growing list. She came up against Neralee Montague who was definitely no slouch! She had a massive wide back with a great Front Latspread. Her back was sensational and it was thick and detailed from behind and was capped off with an awesome set of delts. Very impressive indeed! Anna’s legs are the best Figure legs in Australia I think. They lack nothing; size, shape and condition, it’s all there. Not to mention of course those incredible calves - it’s almost are impossible to take your eyes off them. Well…those glutes are pretty distracting too I suppose! Not only do her legs look good, but they are functional as well, which she proved by finishing in the splits position at the end of her routine. This was possibly the best class of the day. It was an absolute treat to see two quality Figure competitors on the stage together. It was a shame that there had to be a winner, well done to both women, you were both fantastic!"

Morning Outlaw. Thanks for your comments That was a great show, to be honest prob the show I enjoyed the most out of all my competing. I made some good friends with some of the Aussies's that day and have been organising to come over to Melbourne to meet up with a couple of them. I was looking at possibly coming over still to do Graeme's show in Melbourne on May 23. Graeme is one fantastic guy! I have a lot of respect for him cause he has been absoulutely awesome to me. You can always gaurantee to get some great competition over there to.

I gotta admit, I was probably cheering for Anna a fair bit, we are pretty good friends, but I must say, when you both came out I knew it was gonna be close.

I reckon you had her on upper body and she had you on legs, not that there is anything wrong with Anna's upper body or your legs.

It was a really close contest and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A lot of people told me it was very close. I agree with you there, Anna had awesome legs! will let you know when I book my tickets to come over for the Mr & Miss International in Melbourne in May. Be awesome if Anna was to compete again.

Ok guys, sorry I have been a little tied up with sorting out a few "technicalities" so have not been keeping you all up to date. We have had enquiries from competitors wanting to come from Australia, Auckland & Wellington & all over the SI. Just to clarify that the show is open to all competitors in NZ & Australia & gives qualification to NABBA World Championships in Malta on 19th June 2010 & WFF Universe in Greece on 5 June 2010 for selected competitors. You will join the Australian team competing in these events.

However, this show is not just about those at the top of their game. Its about providing a platform for up & coming & aspiring athletes to get involved with a supportive, dedicated & like minded group of people. This is your chance to get on board, no matter what federation you have competed in before. We have categories to suit all body types at any age & height from hardcore muscle right through to an aerobics performance or sports model. Shortly, the Show Managers will announce details of entry & membership requirements specific to New Zealand & exactly what is required to compete.

In the meantime the organising committee is driving ahead at full steam finalising our major sponsor, category & product sponsors & a Show Poster is due to hit the gyms, fitness & supplements stores around the country within the next 2 weeks. Please Pm me with your details if you would like to display a poster at your facility.
